Despite growing political commitment and targeted development investments, the development of nutrition-sensitive agriculture and food systems is hampered by a lack of programme design capacity and operational tools. This publication offers a range of food system-based intervention options with high potential to improve nutrition, together with concrete entry points for maximizing the impact of each of these interventions. It is part of a broader package of guidance materials, the FAO Toolkit for nutrition-sensitive agriculture and food systems.
